Role Overview: The Pharmacist and Residency Program Director specializes in hematology and oncology, providing safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy. They oversee clinical activities, mentor residents and staff, and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including medication review, dosing, and safety monitoring.
Manage and mentor pharmacy residents, students, and staff to foster professional growth.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy and resolve drug-related issues.
Participate in clinical rounds, provide drug therapy expertise, and develop evidence-based protocols.
Ensure accurate medication preparation, including sterile compounding.
Monitor medication utilization and financial performance to inform strategic decisions.
Oversee pharmacy operations, staffing, performance management, and resource use.
Provide drug information, in-service education, and ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance.
Develop budgets, performance metrics, and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required; Doctorate in Pharmacology preferred. Strong clinical knowledge, leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are essential.
