Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Acute Care and Oncology Unit

Role: Coordinates and supervises nursing care on an assigned unit, ensuring high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care. Provides direct patient care, supervises staff, and assists with onboarding and performance evaluations. Facilitates communication among team members, enforces policies, and promotes evidence-based practices. Acts as a resource and mentor, supporting professional growth and fostering a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities: Develops unit-level improvements, manages staffing and supplies, addresses performance issues, and ensures regulatory compliance. Communicates effectively with staff, patients, and visitors, and handles patient concerns. Supports Magnet principles, promotes a healthy work environment, and follows up on incidents. Ensures proper documentation and resource utilization, and participates in policy development.

Qualifications & Skills: Enrolled in or graduate of a nursing degree program (Bachelor's preferred). Demonstrates leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills. Works well in a team, upholds safety standards, and is committed to professional development.
