Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care - MedSurg Oncology FT Nights

Role: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care within a collaborative interdisciplinary team. They practice in a clinical environment guided by evidence-based standards, professional models, and organizational policies, ensuring adherence to the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics.

Key Responsibilities

Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based practices.
Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, involving patients and families in care planning.
Coordinate safe, quality care through effective communication and documentation, fostering teamwork and inclusivity.
Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and promote evidence-based practice.
Serve as a preceptor or mentor, contributing to workforce development and a healthy work environment.
Develop and implement protocols, optimize resource use, and support system policies and standards.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum of 5 years RN experience, with direct patient care preferred.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (single-state or multi-state compact) and current BLS certification.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and technical skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in clinical technology, critical thinking, and time management.
