Registered Nurse - Acute Care - MedSurg Oncology FT Nights

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care within an interdisciplinary team, supporting evidence-based practices and organizational standards. They uphold the nursing scope of practice, Code of Ethics, and promote patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based standards.
• Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care, partnering with patients and families to prioritize their goals.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality care through effective communication and teamwork.
• Support professional development by completing required education, mentoring, and serving as a preceptor.
• Engage in research, performance improvement, and evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
• Develop protocols and participate in resource management to optimize care delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 5 years RN experience; direct patient care preferred.
• Active RN license in good standing; Basic Life Support certification required.
• Associate's or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills; proficient in technology and critical thinking.
