Radiology Technologist - MRI (Part-Time, 3X12 Shifts)

Role Overview



Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using Siemens MRI machines in an
operating room setting. The position offers full-time hours with benefits, working primarily during day shifts with no call requirements.



Key Responsibilities





- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
- Perform studies independently, including portable and on-call exams.
- Oversee shift operations, manage workflow, and adjust priorities.
- Serve as a clinical resource, mentor staff, and assist with difficult exams.
- Act as liaison between the team and supervisor, ensuring proper communication and supplies.
- Assist in training students and new employees, and delegate tasks as needed.





Qualifications & Skills





- Associate degree or higher in a related field.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and relevant licenses.
- 2-5 years of radiology experience; preferred 5-10 years.
- Experience with MRI, CT, radiology, and operating room imaging.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and mentorship skills.
- CPR certification preferred.
