Role Overview
This position is for a Senior Brachytherapy Certified Radiation Therapist responsible for delivering advanced radiation treatments, preparing patients and charts, coordinating scheduling, and assisting physicians with procedures. No prior brachytherapy experience is required as training is provided. The role involves administering radiopharmaceutical treatments, utilizing the latest technology in radiation therapy, and supporting imaging and dosimetry services.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients and charts before procedures.
Deliver accurate treatments and complete the treatment process.
Coordinate patient scheduling and assist with procedures.
Administer HDR treatments and utilize advanced treatment techniques.
Opportunities for cross-training within the Radiation Oncology system.
Qualifications & Skills
Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
Board Certified by ARRT (R.T.(T)).
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Licensure in Radiation Therapy necessary.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and patient care skills.
Additional Details
Full-time role with day shifts, Monday to Friday, no weekends.
