Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Acute Care Medical and Oncology Unit

Role Overview: This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) serving as a Clinical Team Coordinator, responsible for coordinating and supervising nursing care on a designated unit.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care and supervise assigned staff, including onboarding and performance evaluations.
Manage staffing, scheduling, supplies, and patient/bed triage to ensure efficient operations.
Communicate care activities, policies, and regulatory requirements effectively to staff, patients, and visitors.
Support quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practices, and professional development.
Mentor staff, delegate tasks, and foster a participative environment.
Address patient and family concerns, ensure documentation accuracy, and follow up on incidents.
Assist in policy formulation, unit goals, and compliance with standards, promoting a safe, collaborative, and high-quality care environment.

Qualifications & Skills: Enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a clinical setting, support professional growth, and ensure regulatory compliance.
