Charge Nurse (RN) - Acute Care Oncology (Part Time)

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care as part of the patient care team, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, contributing to care plans and ensuring optimal outcomes.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver patient-centered care.
Prioritize patient flow, safety, and satisfaction while adhering to policies and procedures.
Act as an advocate, addressing patient concerns and providing health education.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives, supporting organizational goals for quality and safety.
Maintain professional licenses, certifications, and stay current with industry best practices.
Mentor and support the growth of fellow nurses, fostering a positive work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

Associate or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelors preferred).
Valid RN license; multi-state licensure or single-state license as required.
Current BLS certification, with instructor status preferred.
Strong communication, critical thinking, collaboration, and professionalism.
