Neuro ICU Registered Nurse - Nights

Role Overview



This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.



It emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and participation in safety and quality initiatives.



The role requires developing personalized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication and proactive care delivery.



Critical nursing skills are essential to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural values.



This is a safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices.



Qualifications & Skills





- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Licenses: Valid RN license.
- Experience: No minimum required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
- Preferred: ICU experience, BSN, supervisory experience.





Key Responsibilities





- Promote healing environment and educate patients/families on care and medication management.
- Participate in activities supporting safety, quality, and professional development.
- Develop and document individualized care plans, ensuring communication across care teams.
- Assess physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs, addressing barriers to involvement.
