High-Risk Cardiology - Clinical RN (Day Shift) → Cardiology Clinical RN (Day Shift)

Role Overview



Provides comprehensive nursing care in a high-risk cardiology unit, managing patients with conditions such as CAD, HTN, arrhythmias, heart failure, valve disease, and pulmonary hypertension. Collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary team including Hospitalists, cardiology consultants, residents, and other medical professionals.



Key Responsibilities





- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within nursing standards.
- Educate patients and families on illness management, medication, and post-discharge care.
- Develop and document individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
- Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; participate in professional development activities.
- Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.





Qualifications & Skills





- Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree, RN licensure, no prior experience required.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and extensive EKG training are advantageous.
