Full-Time Clinical Nurse - Operating Room

Role Overview



This position is for a Clinical Nurse in the Operating Room, providing direct patient care in a surgical setting with a focus on general surgery. The role involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, emphasizing patient and family-centered approaches, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Nurses will develop and communicate individualized care plans and assess patients' physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting their values and cultural backgrounds.



Responsibilities Include





- Promoting a healing environment through patient education on illness management, post-care needs, and medication administration.
- Participating in activities that ensure patient safety and quality standards, along with ongoing professional development.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create and document care plans aligned with standards of nursing care.





Qualifications & Skills





- Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree and RN licensure.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
