Role Overview
Seeking an Oncology Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in providing expert pharmacotherapy support for cancer patients. Key responsibilities include evaluating patient health and medication profiles to optimize outcomes, monitoring therapy progress, and documenting activities. The role involves participating in professional development, research, performance improvement, and contributing to drug cost reduction initiatives. Additionally, you will educate and mentor pharmacy staff, residents, and students, serving as a resource across hospital departments.
Qualifications & Skills
• Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medication therapy services
• Licensure as an RPh and certification in Medication Therapy Services in MO
• Strong clinical knowledge, communication, and teamwork skills
Key Duties
• Assess patient health status and medication profiles
• Monitor therapy effectiveness and care goals
• Participate in quality assurance and scholarly activities
• Contribute to performance improvements and drug use evaluations
• Provide education and mentorship to staff and trainees
• Support targeted drug cost reduction programs

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, day shifts, and occasional weekend support.
