Charge Nurse (RN) - Acute Care Oncology (Part Time)

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care within a patient care team, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. They serve as a key liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring patient advocacy and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions; assist with care planning and take appropriate actions to promote outcomes.
Deliver safe, effective care in accordance with policies; document assessments, care, and incidents accurately.
Respond to patient concerns, educate patients and families, and communicate pertinent information to care teams.
Contribute to performance improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities, supporting change, and enhancing patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Maintain professional licenses, complete required training, and seek professional growth and leadership development opportunities.
Mentor and support fellow nurses, foster a positive work environment, and uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards.

Qualifications & Skills

Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; RN licensure (single state or multi-state compact).
Ability to collaborate, communicate effectively, and demonstrate professionalism and integrity.
