Charge Nurse (RN) - Acute Care Oncology (Part Time)

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care within a patient care team, ensuring positive patient outcomes and satisfaction. They serve as a communication link between patients, families, and healthcare providers, advocating for patient needs and maintaining confidentiality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions to develop and modify care plans.
• Deliver safe, effective care aligned with policies and procedures, documenting assessments and interventions accurately.
• Communicate patient information effectively to team members and families, supporting patient- and family-centered care.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contribute ideas, and support organizational change to enhance care quality and patient satisfaction.
• Maintain professional competence through ongoing training, certifications, and involvement in professional organizations.
• Mentor and support the growth of fellow nurses, fostering a positive, professional work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license and required certifications including BLS.
• Ability to collaborate effectively, demonstrate professional integrity, and adapt to a dynamic healthcare setting.
