This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and overseeing statistical data within an outpatient infusion setting for chemotherapy and related treatments. The role includes hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and supporting professional development of staff nurses and technicians.
Key Responsibilities
Manage staff productivity, conduct performance evaluations, and address disciplinary actions.
Assist in developing departmental staffing, revenue, and expense budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals.
Provide patient care aligned with planned interventions, documenting according to policies.
Create collaborative care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
Oversee staff scheduling, payroll updates, and communication; determine staffing needs and make nursing assignments.
Support operational goals, respond to business changes, and ensure safety compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
BSN degree required, RN licensure essential.
2+ years of nursing experience; oncology experience preferred.
Experience in supervisory roles is advantageous, with 5-10 years of experience preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills necessary.
