Advanced Modality Technologist - Full-Time

Role Overview



This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as CT, MRI, Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, or Cardiac Catheterization on both adult and pediatric patients. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts studies independently, and occasionally handles on-call, portable exams, and other site-specific tasks.



Responsibilities





- Operate imaging equipment like C-arms and O-arms.
- Obtain intra-operative and post-operative radiographic images with portable X-ray machines.
- Work within a core team of OR Advanced Modality Technologists.





Qualifications & Skills





- Associate degree or higher in a related field.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
- Preferred experience in advanced imaging areas such as CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology, with at least 2 years of experience being advantageous.
- Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois only), RTR, CT, MRI, or other relevant certifications are required or preferred.
