Vascular Access Nurse

Role: Vascular Access RN

Responsibilities: Provide expert bedside vascular access services across inpatient units, including ultrasound-guided insertion and maintenance of peripheral IVs, midlines, and PICC lines.

Key duties: Assess line necessity and complications, collaborate with physicians and nurses, educate staff and patients on line care, follow evidence-based protocols, ensure infection prevention, document thoroughly in the EMR, support rapid response efforts, and precept peers in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications & Skills: Strong clinical expertise in vascular access, proficiency with ultrasound-guided procedures, excellent communication skills, knowledge of infection control protocols, and ability to work effectively within a team.
