Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care

Role: Travel Physical Therapist in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat adult patients with orthopedic, neurologic, ICU, and oncology conditions. Perform patient assessments, utilize adaptive and assistive devices, conduct gait training, and document evaluations, plans of care, and discharge summaries. Use equipment such as gait belts, walkers, and specialty beds. Provide care primarily during day shifts with limited weekend requirements.

Qualifications & Skills: Current MA license (if applicable), BLS certification, minimum 1 year of acute inpatient experience, proficiency in patient assessment, documentation, and use of therapeutic equipment. Epic EMR experience preferred. Ability to work all days if scheduled, with local candidates within 75 miles.

Key Duties: Provide inpatient physical therapy for adult patients, focusing on orthopedic, neurologic, and oncology care in a hospital environment. Work scheduled days, 8-hour shifts, with up to 14 days of RTO consideration. Ensure compliance with licensing and certification requirements.
