Job Description
The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care on a 28-bed Oncology Unit, supporting adult cancer patients requiring inpatient treatments.
They collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based practice and the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
The role emphasizes relationship-based care tailored to diverse populations, involving patients and families in care planning and education.
Responsibilities include coordinating care, documenting accurately, promoting teamwork, supporting performance improvement initiatives, and participating in research activities.
They serve as preceptors or mentors to foster professional growth and uphold standards aligned with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and ANA codes.
Qualifications include an associate's degree in nursing (bachelor’s preferred), active RN license (single-state or multi-state), BLS certification, and less than one year of clinical experience or completion of accredited nursing education.
