Registered Nurse - Acute Care MedSurg Oncology - Charge Nurse - FT Nights

We are seeking a Charge Nurse for a Medsurg Oncology Unit who will

Lead and coordinate daily unit operations, ensuring safe and high-quality patient care.
Make patient assignments considering staff and patient needs, and oversee clinical processes.
Perform rounds, evaluate care quality, and support evidence-based practice.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, communicate effectively, and promote team cohesion.
Manage resources, monitor equipment, and assist in staffing and bed management.
Serve as a clinical resource, mentor staff, and support professional development.
Participate in quality improvement, research activities, and compliance with policies and standards.
Ensure patient-centered care through effective communication and relationship-based practices.

Qualifications Include

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or BSN preferred).
Valid nursing license (multi-state compact).
Certifications in BLS and ACLS (preferred).
Minimum 1-2 years nursing experience, with leadership or relief charge experience preferred.
Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
