Sonographer

Role: The Sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, small parts, obstetrical, and vascular studies, to assist in diagnosis and treatment of patients.



Responsibilities





- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and ready for use.
- Perform ultrasound examinations independently, documenting procedures accurately.
- Assist with image-guided procedures such as biopsies or drainages.
- Conduct studies on-call, portable exams, and at various sites as needed.





Qualifications & Skills





- Associate degree or trade school equivalent.
- RDMS or equivalent certification; CPR and RDCS preferred for advanced roles.
- No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced certifications.
- Licenses and certifications must include RDMS; RDCS preferred.
