Respiratory Therapist - Part-Time Weekends

Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in critical care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care, education, and support, addressing biological, emotional, developmental, and psychosocial needs.
• Perform ventilator management, airway procedures, arterial blood gas analysis, and assist in invasive/non-invasive procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team for care planning and ensure high-quality, safe patient environments.
• Mentor and educate patients, staff, and students; participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintain documentation, promote evidence-based practices, and ensure compliance with policies and standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Certifications: NBRC-RRT, Respiratory Care Professional, BLS, and ACLS.
• 0-2 years clinical experience with critical care knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and computer skills.
