Job Title: Research Scientist

Location: Santa Monica, CA – Hybrid (Locals Only)

Job Description:

The Research Scientist will support biomarker and translational strategies for CAR-T clinical development in Multiple Myeloma. This role will focus on evaluating CAR-T cell function, clinical biomarkers, pharmacology data, and potential prognostic tools.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead PK/PD analysis supporting clinical pharmacology for CAR-T clinical trials.
• Serve as a Biomarker Lead on clinical study teams and support pivotal/registrational study filings.
• Contribute to clinical protocol design and study activities.
• Collaborate with CROs on novel method development and technology transfer.
• Support regulatory responses and clinical pharmacology/translational queries.
• Prepare data packages for publications, presentations, and regulatory submissions.
• Support exploratory biomarker studies, tumor biology, and CAR-T functionality analyses.

Required Qualifications:
• Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) with 3+ years of industry experience; or Master’s with 5+ years; or Bachelor’s with 7+ years.
• Strong background in cancer immunotherapy, immunology, and/or oncology.
• Experience with clinical trials, regulatory filings, and clinical/biomarker operations.
• Strong understanding of clinical, translational, and mechanistic data.
• Experience with bioanalytical assay development and validation in a GxP environment.
• Experience with engineered T cells, immunophenotyping, and NGS-based approaches.
