Registered Nurse - Oncology Unit

Role Overview:

The Inpatient Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting, addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs. They coordinate and implement individualized care plans, including treatments, medications, and diagnostics, while evaluating and adjusting interventions based on patient responses.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform assessments and develop multidisciplinary care plans.
Deliver direct patient care and educate patients and families.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Manage equipment, troubleshoot issues, and participate in evidence-based practice decisions.
Promote safety, quality, and patient satisfaction through active participation in safety programs and team initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in an acuity adaptable environment, including oncology and bone marrow transplant care.
Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning.
