Radiation Therapist - Treatment & Simulation

Role Overview:

Seeking a

Full-Time Senior Radiation Therapist

responsible for delivering radiation treatments to oncology patients, including simulation, 3D treatment planning, and procedures such as brachytherapy and teletherapy. The role requires preparing patients and charts, ensuring accurate treatment delivery, and coordinating scheduling. The therapist will operate advanced equipment like the TrueBeam linac, teach students, and present current cases.

Qualifications & Skills:

Certified Radiation Therapist with ARRT certification (RT(T))
Completed accredited Radiation Therapy program
2+ years of experience preferred
Ability to operate TrueBeam linac
Strong knowledge of radiology, medical imaging, and radiation oncology
Excellent patient care and communication skills

Responsibilities:

Prepare patients and review charts before procedures
Administer precise radiation treatments
Complete treatments and manage patient scheduling
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
Board Certified by ARRT
Licenses: R.T.(T)

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy
