Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Acute Care Medical and Oncology Unit

Role:

Coordinates and supervises nursing care on an assigned unit, ensuring delivery of high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care. Provides direct patient care, supervises staff, and assists with staff orientation and performance evaluations.

Responsibilities:

Communicates with team and management about patient care and unit operations, supports policies and regulations, mentors staff, promotes evidence-based practices, and ensures regulatory compliance. Handles patient and family concerns, manages incidents, and optimizes resource use.

Qualifications & Skills:

Enrolled in or graduate of a nursing degree program, with preferred Bachelor's degree. Demonstrates leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to foster a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
