Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Infusion Clinic, specializing in oncology care.
Responsibilities Include
Developing and evaluating individualized care plans to achieve desired outcomes.
Assessing patient health data, communicating plans to patients and families, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Providing education on disease management, emergency care, and medication information, tailored to each patient's cultural and learning needs.
Supporting wound, ostomy, and skin care, participating in performance improvement, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA.
Assisting with technical procedures such as injections, venipuncture, and IV therapy, and providing psychological support to patients.
Contributing to professional development and peer collaboration.
Qualifications Include
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (required).
At least 1 year of RN experience, with preference for oncology/infusion nursing experience.
Current Illinois RN license and BLS/CPR certification.
OCN/ONS certification or willingness to obtain it.
