Registered Nurse - Oncology Chemotherapy Treatment Unit

Role Overview: This position is for a Chemotherapy Infusion RN responsible for administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and advanced cancer treatments in an outpatient oncology setting. You will support patients through education, therapeutic communication, and emotional care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team on innovative treatments and research.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and related therapies using ports, PICC lines, and IVs.
• Provide patient education, emotional support, and build meaningful relationships.
• Support professional nursing practice across care settings, including planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating nursing care.
• Lead and mentor peers, participate in quality improvement, and support a team-oriented environment.
• Support patient transitions of care and contribute to a fast-paced, complex work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; at least one year of RN experience required.
• Current RN licensure, BLS certification, and other state-specific certifications as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking, and leadership abilities.
• Experience working in team environments and proficiency with electronic medical records preferred.
