Job Description
Seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join a growing inpatient palliative care program in Tucson, Arizona.
The role involves delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care to adults with serious, chronic, or life-limiting illnesses within an academic medical setting.
The NP will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, social workers, chaplains, and community hospice staff, focusing on clinical symptom management, end-of-life discussions, and goals of care.
Qualifications include: current certification and Arizona license, CPR and BLS, prescribing privileges, and preferred experience in palliative, hospice, geriatrics, ICU, or oncology. ACHPN certification is preferred or expected within two years.
The position offers a full-time, daytime schedule with no call or weekends.
The team operates across inpatient and outpatient settings, providing specialized care for patients with serious illnesses.
