Registered Nurse - Acute Care Surgical Oncology

Role Overview: This is a part-time nursing position in the Surgical Oncology department, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced, acute care setting. The role involves utilizing the nursing process, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and prioritizing evidence-based practice to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities: Deliver top-of-scope nursing care, model proficiency through precepting, contribute to safety and quality at the point of care, and support a patient-centered approach. The position includes caring for patients with moderate to high acuity in specialized units, following evidence-based care models.

Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (preferably with a Bachelor's degree), valid RN licensure, and at least 6 months of RN experience. BLS certification is required. Strong communication, teamwork, and commitment to professional growth are essential.
