Role Overview
The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a key communicator between patients, families, providers, and staff, ensuring patient-centered care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions; assist in care planning; deliver safe and effective care.
• Document patient assessments, care delivered, and changes in condition accurately.
• Advocate for patients by listening to concerns, providing education, and communicating with families and care team members.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and support organizational goals for quality and safety.
• Maintain professional competence through ongoing training, certifications, and involvement in professional organizations.
• Mentor and support colleagues to foster a positive work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Minimum education: Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma; Bachelor's preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification (Instructor or Provider), and multi-state RN license or single-state license.
• Competencies: Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, confidentiality, and adherence to safety protocols.
