Job Description
Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care on a specialized Oncology Unit, collaborating within an interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on evidence-based practice.
Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to patient needs and involve patients and families in care planning.
Ensure accurate documentation and coordinate care with team members to promote safety and quality outcomes.
Participate in performance improvement, research activities, and shared governance initiatives.
Support resource management and develop protocols to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills
Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
Current RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification, and relevant clinical experience.
Strong communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and time management skills.
Proficiency in technology, adaptability in fast-paced environments, and commitment to evidence-based practice.
Additional Details: The role involves working full-time days, with sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available for eligible candidates. The position emphasizes professional growth, teamwork, and delivering compassionate, patient-focused care.
