Radiation Therapist - Treatment & Simulation

Join our team as a Full-Time Senior Radiation Therapist in an outpatient radiation oncology department.

This role involves performing patient treatments utilizing ionizing radiation under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist, including treatment preparation, delivery, and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patient charts and treatment setups.
• Deliver accurate treatments and ensure quality procedures.
• Coordinate treatment schedules and complete treatment processes.

Qualifications And Skills

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Certified Radiation Therapist (RT(T)), with 2 or more years of experience.
• Ability to operate TrueBeam linear accelerator, perform treatments, and teach students.
• Knowledge of radiology, medical imaging, cancer care, and radiation therapy.

Additional requirements include completing an accredited radiation therapy program and board certification by ARRT. The role involves treating patients with malignant and benign tumors, including advanced procedures like brachytherapy and IMRT.
