Job Description
Role Overview: As a Radiation Therapist, you will administer targeted radiation treatments and collaborate with oncology teams to provide compassionate patient care, helping individuals fight cancer effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Administer radiation therapy treatments accurately
Collaborate with oncology professionals to develop treatment plans
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
Utilize electronic medical records (EPIC) for documentation
Maintain compliance with licensing and certification requirements
Qualifications & Skills
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program
ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy
Valid Radiation Therapy state license (or eligible)
Minimum 2 years' experience as a radiation therapist
Current BLS certification (AHA)
VA License or license status (including temporary with pending license)
Additional Details: This role typically involves weekday hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend or on-call duties.
