Radiation Therapist

Role Overview

This position involves performing patient treatments utilizing ionizing radiation under the guidance of a Radiation Oncologist. The Sr Radiation Therapist prepares patients and charts, delivers accurate treatments, and manages treatment processes and scheduling.

Responsibilities Include

• Preparing patients and charts prior to procedures
• Providing consistent and precise radiation treatments
• Completing treatments and coordinating patient schedules

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy preferred
• 2-5 years of experience; licensing as R.T.(T) required
• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills

Key Duties: Ensure accurate treatment delivery, coordinate patient care, and maintain documentation. The role offers a schedule with no weekends, calls, or holidays, working primarily 10-hour shifts over four days.
