Project Manager

Location: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Type: 12-Month Contract-to-Hire





Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong engineering background to lead cross-functional medical device projects focused on sustaining engineering, remediation efforts, and new product development. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys driving technical projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering business results in a regulated environment.





Responsibilities


- Lead cross-functional teams through project planning and execution.
- Manage project timelines, risks, resources, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with engineering, quality, operations, regulatory, and vendor teams.
- Drive sustaining, remediation, and new product development initiatives.
- Support process improvements, material changes, vendor transitions, and cost-saving projects.
- Communicate project status and key milestones to stakeholders.






Required Qualifications


- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of engineering or product development experience.
- 2+ years of project management experience.
- Experience in the medical device, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience supporting sustaining, remediation, or new product development projects.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of FDA-regulated product development environments.






Preferred Qualifications


- MBA, advanced engineering degree, or PMP certification.
- Class II medical device experience.
- Advanced Access Devices (AAD) experience.
- Product commercialization experience.
- Familiarity with FDA submissions and regulatory processes.
