Job Description

One of Insight Global's largest banking and financial services clients is seeking a Vice President of Financial Transformations to provide strategic leadership for a multi-year Finance Technology Transformation program focused on modernizing enterprise finance platforms, operating models, accounting architecture, and financial data ecosystems. These executive leaders will define and drive target-state business architecture across critical finance domains while influencing senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Technology, and executive leadership teams. The ideal candidates will bring extensive experience leading large-scale finance transformation programs within banking or financial services organizations and possesses deep expertise in business architecture, finance operations, enterprise data strategy, and organizational change.





This role requires an executive-level leader capable of connecting finance transformation strategy to business outcomes at enterprise scale. Key Responsibilities to include:


- Define and lead target-state business architecture across core finance domains, including General Ledger, Accounting Engines, Financial Close, Data Substantiation, Reconciliation, Financial Reporting, and Enterprise Data Management.
- Lead enterprise-wide business capability modeling, process architecture, functional design, and operating model transformation efforts.
- Design future-state finance processes, control frameworks, and data architectures that align with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Champion reconciliation, substantiation, data integrity, and governance frameworks to ensure complete, accurate, and timely financial reporting.
- Drive strategic alignment across Finance, Operations, Technology, Risk, and executive leadership teams.
- Serve as the primary business architecture leader guiding transformation programs involving Oracle, SAP, or other enterprise finance platforms.
- Lead complex stakeholder engagement efforts and facilitate executive decision-making across large global organizations.
- Translate enterprise finance strategy into scalable business capabilities and transformation roadmaps.
- Lead and mentor teams of Business Architects and Senior Business Architects.
- Drive organizational change, business readiness, and transformation adoption across impacted functions.
- Establish architecture standards, governance practices, and best-in-class business process frameworks.






Required Skills & Experience


- Local to and willing to work onsite in NYC 2-3 days per week as required.
Candidates open to relocation will be considered but if hired, will be fully responsible for relocation expenses. No relocation assistance offered!

- Bachelor's degree.
- Extensive experience leading large-scale finance transformation programs within banking, capital markets, or financial services environments
preferred, but will also consider candidates in executive/CSuite-level roles at Fortune 500 companies.
- Significant experience supporting ERP, Oracle, SAP, or SaaS finance platform transformations from a business strategy and architecture perspective.
This is NOT a technical engineering or programming role.
- Deep expertise in business architecture, process architecture, finance operations, and enterprise data strategy.
- Proven experience defining enterprise-wide target-state operating models and business architectures.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and executive presence. Demonstrated success influencing executive stakeholders and driving alignment across complex organizations.
- Proven track record leading teams and driving enterprise-scale organizational change.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to connect detailed process design decisions to long-term business outcomes and transformation objectives.






Compensation

$175,000 to $210,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. In addition to salary, compensation/benefits offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
