Role Overview
This position involves providing direct patient care within an outpatient oncology setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
Key Responsibilities
Promote patient and family-centered care, educating patients on illness management, medication administration, and post-treatment needs.
Participate in ensuring patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team and patients or caregivers.
Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific factors.
Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times.
Qualifications
Required: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree, RN license, no prior experience necessary.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
