Inpatient Surgical RN (PRN)

Role Overview



This position provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and promoting safety and quality compliance.



Key Responsibilities





- Develops, implements, and documents personalized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and emotional factors.
- Participates in safety initiatives, quality improvement, and professional development activities.





Qualifications & Skills





- Minimum of Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing; RN licensure required.
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work safely and maintain constant alertness as this is a safety-sensitive position.
