Role Overview
The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards.
They educate patients and families on managing illnesses, medication, and post-treatment care, using critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
The role involves developing and modifying individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and participating in professional development activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- BSN preferred; Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required
- No prior experience necessary
- Must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation from an accredited nursing program
