Full-Time Clinical Nurse - Behavioral Assessment Team

Role Overview



This position involves providing direct patient care within a pediatric behavioral health setting, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care to children with complex needs. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Collaboration with the interprofessional team ensures effective communication and individualized care plans that address physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.



Responsibilities





- Deliver comprehensive nursing care adhering to standards and guidelines.
- Develop, implement, and document personalized care plans with clear goals.
- Assess patient needs holistically, including emotional, spiritual, and cultural factors.
- Educate patients and families on treatment, medication, and post-care needs.
- Participate in safety, quality initiatives, and ongoing professional development.





Qualifications & Skills





- Nursing diploma or associate's degree required; bachelor's preferred.
- RN license required; CPI training and pediatric experience are advantageous.
- Minimum of 2 years of behavioral health nursing experience preferred.
- Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a high-responsibility environment.
