Charge CT Radiology Technologist (Nights)

Role Overview



This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in advanced modalities such as CT, MRI, and other imaging techniques, on both adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts independent studies including portable and on-call exams, and ensures quality control.



Key Responsibilities





- Oversee daily shift operations, workflow, and assignments, adjusting priorities as needed.
- Serve as a clinical resource, problem-solve, assist with difficult exams, and mentor staff or students.
- Communicate effectively with the team and supervisor, maintain supplies, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Delegate tasks and assume supervisory responsibilities in their absence.





Qualifications & Skills





- Associate degree or equivalent from Trade School.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and relevant licenses.
- 2-5 years of experience, with preferred experience of 5-10 years and leadership roles.
- Additional certifications such as CPR, and experience with advanced imaging modalities.
