Assistant Nurse Manager - Neonatal ICU

Role Overview



This leadership position involves managing neonatal patient care, personnel, and departmental operations within a nationally recognized children's hospital. The role requires direct oversight of staff, ensuring quality patient care, staff development, and operational efficiency.




- Key Responsibilities: Manage staff hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development; oversee staffing, budgets, and departmental goals; coordinate patient care plans based on assessments and medical treatments; monitor staff productivity and operational metrics; and lead team meetings and staff communications.
- Ensure compliance with policies, maintain equipment, and support on-call rotations.





Qualifications & Skills





- RN licensure with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred).
- 2-5 years of RN experience in Neonatal ICU; supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
