Role Overview

This position involves coordinating care for female patients on a specialized 24-bed unit focused on GYN Oncology, including chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, pain and symptom management, palliative, and hospice care. The role requires managing personnel, ensuring quality patient care, maintaining equipment, and overseeing departmental operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage staffing, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
Develop and monitor departmental budgets, ensuring operational and financial goals are met.
Coordinate patient care plans based on assessments and medical treatment, ensuring documentation compliance.
Oversee staff productivity, conduct performance reviews, and handle disciplinary actions as needed.
Lead staff communication, assign nursing duties, and manage staffing needs, including overtime and scheduling.
Ensure safety and compliance with institutional policies in a safety-sensitive environment.

Qualifications & Skills

BSN degree required, RN licensure essential.
2-5 years of experience, with preferred 5-10 years; supervisory experience is advantageous.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
