Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Chandler, Arizona.

Job Summary
Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse - Night Shift - Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing specialized nursing care for oncology and post-operative patients in an acute care setting. The role requires strong assessment skills and the ability to manage a high patient turnover unit effectively.
Job Details
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: RN license, ACLS certification, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the past 6 months, and experience on medical-surgical and oncology units.
• Preferred Qualifications: ONS Chemo Provider Card.
• Responsibilities include performing post-op assessments, managing oncology treatments, administering chemo when required, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS are required.
• Additional Information: Candidates must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start, and there is a charge nurse who may assist with chemo administration but does not take an assignment. The unit is equipped with Cpap and high-flow respiratory equipment for palliative care patients. Floating to other med/surg/tele units may be required. Self-scheduling is available, with four weekend shifts per four-week schedule, plus a holiday rotation.
• Charting System: Cerner.
• Licenses: License to Submit is required and the candidate must be willing to wait for licensure processing.
