Job Summary:

Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Nurse (RN) position in an outpatient setting. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within an interventional radiology unit, supporting adult patients aged 14-99. The position includes rotating day and evening shifts, on-call duties, and weekend and holiday coverage, with a focus on assisting with complex procedures utilizing advanced radiology equipment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating day and evening shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week

• Required Qualifications: Mass Registered Nurse (RN) License, ACLS, BLS certifications; 2 years of interventional radiology nursing experience; valid MA license in hand; minimum 1 year of relevant experience; location required in Massachusetts

• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens and Philips radiology equipment, EPIC Radiant Documentation, Philips Monitors; experience with lasers, Angiojet, EKOS, CSI, vaso drips, thrombolytics, and moderate sedation; familiarity with common diagnoses such as Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD), Pulmonary Embolism (PE), and cancer

• Float/On-Call Requirements: On call one to two days per week, one weekend per month, and one holiday if applicable during the assignment

• Additional Information: This position requires emergency ventilator management and moderate sedation procedures. The nurse will work with a 1:1 patient-to-nurse ratio in four procedure rooms; on-call team maintains a 1:1 ratio. The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/19/2026 and conclude on 01/16/2027. Candidate must have a current Massachusetts RN license and be able to work in an outpatient interventional radiology environment.
