Job Summary

Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse in MS ONC located in the unspecified facility. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for oncology patients, ensuring high-quality services in accordance with professional standards. The role involves supporting outpatient radiation patients, managing pre- and post-sedation care, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week.

• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification; preferred experience in an acute care hospital setting, with experience in clinical assessments, care management, IV insertion, and anesthesia-related patient care.

• Additional Qualifications: Certification in relevant specialties is preferred.

• Responsibilities: Conduct clinical assessments, develop and modify care plans, manage inpatient and outpatient care, support patients undergoing radiation therapy and anesthesia, and document care activities accurately. Participate in maintaining a high standard of nursing practice and patient safety.

• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree, professional certification, and experience in oncology or radiation therapy are preferred.

• Submission Requirements: Candidates must demonstrate successful application of clinical skills appropriate for the specialty and meet all certification requirements.
