Key Responsibilities

- Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and home programs
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards


Required Qualifications

- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Arizona or ability to obtain prior to start
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification


Preferred Experience / Skills

- Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Familiarity with geriatric patient populations
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
