Contract Travel 13-Week Assignment Days 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM Full-Time Onsite

Key Responsibilities

- Provide pre-operative and post-anesthesia recovery care for patients undergoing a wide range of surgical and interventional procedures, including spine, general, GI, colorectal, total joints, GYN, robotics, TAVR, and interventional radiology cases
- Monitor and manage patients using GE monitoring equipment and document care using Meditech EMR
- Float between PACU areas including Main, Surgical Robotics, and Orthopedic Surgery Center as needed based on daily surgery schedule
- Maintain patient ratios in accordance with ASPAN standards, typically 1 RN to 2 patients, with up to 3 for same-day surgery patients
- Manage high-acuity patients including high neuro volume, stroke patients, and critical care overflow
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of RNs and patient care technicians across a combined Pre-Op and PACU environment of 59 total bays


Required Qualifications

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado or through compact licensure
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Critical Care and/or PACU
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
- Ability to float between multiple PACU units as required


Preferred Experience / Skills

- Experience with stroke care and high neuro-volume patient populations
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
- Flexible and outgoing personality well-suited to a fast-paced, high-volume surgical environment
