Contract 12 Weeks Days 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM 32 Hours Weekly Guaranteed Onsite

Key Responsibilities

- Provide individualized occupational therapy treatment to patients in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting, primarily on a 1:1 basis with some group therapy
- Manage a daily caseload of 5–6 patients recovering from conditions including stroke, brain injury, debility, amputation, cardiac events, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic injury
- Utilize DME and therapy equipment to support patient recovery and maximize functional outcomes
- Document patient care accurately using EHR systems (UDS Prodoc and Pinpoints)
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate individualized rehabilitation plans
- Maintain current Occupational Therapist licensure and BLS certification throughout the assignment


Required Qualifications

- Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) degree required
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) state license
- Current BLS certification
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Cooperative, team-oriented attitude and professional demeanor


Preferred Experience / Skills

- Minimum 1 year of experience in an inpatient rehabilitation (IPR) setting
- Familiarity with geriatric patient populations
- Experience treating diagnoses such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic conditions
